The old cavalier is parked on the street, my new car sparkles in the sunshine with a touch of purple. The new car smell fills my lungs. The sounds of Theory of a Deadman pumps through the stereo early in the morning to wake me up.
The car pulls onto the street and it glides to the yield sign. I put the pedal to the metal and cruize to work singing at the top of my lungs, tapping my hand on the steering wheel.
I love my new ride...

Great post, Ashley. My first "new" car was a '72 Pontiac Granville. Iron Butterfly was playing Ina Goda Davida on the 8-track tape player.
Love this slice, Ashley ... and I love your new design! And thanks for introducing me to Theory of a Dead Man ... they're playing "Santa Monica" right now, and I'm really enjoying it!
Congrats on the need wheels!
Ahhh, a new car, my PASSION! I am always looking out for my next one, even if it's in my dreams.
